Math Slam Presentations

The PhD students were involved in two main activities of the conference a poster session and the Math Slam.

In the Math Slam  the students presented their research in 5 minutes, without formulas, to a jury including non-mathematicians (an actor and a journalist). The jury evaluated each of the performances with sound and very interesting remarks. The performances of the students were of very high level. The audience selected their favourite contestant casting their vote through the survey-system Kahoot. The Math Slam was moderated by Jo Røislien.

The partecipants of the Math Slam are listed below with links to their presentations. One of the participants Håkon Christopher Bakka choose not to use any digital aids in his presentation.
