The 2026 International Conference on Electrical Contacts will be held in Trondheim, Norway. Trondheim is situated in central Norway 350 km from the Arctic circle, and in early summer has days with the sun up for over 20 hours. Thousand years ago, it was the Viking capital city of Norway, later it became a pilgrim destination, and now it is known for technology R&D and student life. Trondheim can be reached with one-stop flights from continental Europe, America and Asia.

The ICEC 2026 provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest developments in the field of electric contacts and the application of recent advances in materials and processes in electric, electronic and telecommunication equipment. The conference participants come from universities, research institutes and industries from all over the globe.
