Guidelines for presenting authors

Oral Presentations

The time-slot for the presentations is 20min and splits up in 15min for lecture, and 5min dedicated for discussion with the audience and for setting up the next speaker's presentation.

All presentations should be tested in the break before your session starts. Laptop VGA connections and mini-jack stereo sound will be available. We will provide a number of the most common converters, but it is always a good idea to bring your own for safety. We will also make available a dedicated PC with internet connection, stereo sound and the ability to read standard Microsoft Office formats and Acrobat pdf's.

Poster Presentations

Posters for each day will be pinned up for the whole of each conference day for unguided discussion. We will provide a small table and power outlet to each poster stand. Prior to the poster sessions there will be a short poster presentation slot for authors to introduce their work. Each author should plan for 2 minutes maximum, no more than 2 presentation slides, and there will be 1 minute for questions.

It is recommended that posters should be in portrait format, A0 format (841 x 1189 mm). To give the posters a uniform look please use this year's DAFx15 logo available as PNG file.
