Mapping and concept development

– What will the campus include?

How should the surrounding for employees and students be designed? How should we work together? Where we will meet each other? How can we create a setting that encourages the most and the best learning when the new campus is complete? Which spaces and functions should the campus have?

In the sub-project “Mapping of work areas and concept development”, NTNU gathered and structured information about these questions from May 2017 - March 2018. Proposal on area concepts for NTNU were delivered on June 1, 2018. The concepts define what characteristics and qualities campus areas must have in order to help NTNU achieve its aims. The Rectorate decided in October 2018 to set out guidelines for the design of the future area at NTNU.
