I am a researcher at the Norwegian Business School (BI), specialized in interdisciplinary ethics in modern organizations. For me AFINO represents a privilege. I meet a lot of researchers and representatives from the civil society, private and public sector. I am inspired to discuss topics concerning responsible innovation in science and elsewhere in the society. My special interest and responsibility in AFINO is the transition into a green economy.

My research so far concerns how commercial interests strongly influence the private and public sector and marginalize ethical values as trust, honesty, freedom of speech and the reverence for nature. I am interested in the fact that influential forces in society expand the differences and conflicts between nature and humans, elite and marginalized, rich and poor, political extremes, and the more moderate.

I want to use AFINO to explore the drivers behind this negative development as a context for how the transition into a more green economy and responsible society ought to look like.
