The International Society for the Advancement of Writing Research invites you to the Sixth World Conference on Writing Research.

The International Society for the Advancement of Writing Research (ISAWR) consists of researchers from all over the world interested in writing across all levels of education and in all life situations. For years, the WRAB Conference has promoted an exchange of approaches, promoted regular updates and the establishment of networks to carry out research and international projects.

Previous Writing Research Across Borders (WRAB) conferences were:

• WRAB I (2008) at the University of California, Santa Barbara, California, USA.
• WRAB II (2011) at the George Mason University, Fairfax, Northern Virginia, USA.
• WRAB III (2014) at the Université Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense, Paris, France.
• WRAB IV (2017) at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota, Colombia.
• WRAB V (Cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic) at Xi’an International Studies University, Xi’an, China.
• WRAB Online (2021) – Virtual conference.
• WRAB VI (2023) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway – 18–22 February  2023.

In support of linguistic diversity, the conference organizers will encourage the translation of the call for paper into as many languages as possible, and these translations will be posted on the ISAWR.org website.
