About the programme
The Nordic Master in Maritime Engineering is based on the expertise of the participating universities within naval architecture, offshore engineering and maritime engineering. The programme focuses on principles within design, construction and operation of ship and offshore structures, and their interaction with the environment.

Study at two Nordic universities
The Master’s program in Cold climate engineering is a collaboration between (three) of the five leading technical universities in the Nordic countries (Nordic Five Tech). The program gives you a unique opportunity to tailor your degree based on your academic interests.
You will get to study at two of the partner universities, spending one year at each. You graduate with a double master’s degree from the two universities.
The universities participating in the Nordic Master in Cold Climate Engineering are:
- Norwegian University of Science and Technology
- Aalto University in Finland
- Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden
- Technical University of Denmark
The coordinator of the Nordic Master in Environmental Engineering is Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
