WS

Quantum Spintronics 2018

- International workshop in Trondheim

Eighteen speakers, representing both the theoretical and experimental areas, came to share with us their perspectives and work with our nearly seventy attendees.

The workshop allowed for interesting talks, discussions and socialising, as well as a guided tour in the city.

It was also a special moment with the Norwegian Research Council present giving the research center the SFF plaguette being recognised as a center of excellence. The pro-rector and faculty dean gave their recognition as well. And pointed out the importance and opportunities this gives for the basic research within quantum physics at NTNU, and for the training younger researchers and international collaborations.
