The trip was made possible by the INTPART project Norwegian-Japanese Aluminium alloy Research and Education Collaboration (NJALC) - Phase-2 (2019-2023) with Prof. Randi Holmestad from Dept. of Physics as the project leader.

The focus of this project is aluminium research and educational activities in general, including activities closely related to SFI PhysMet. The project includes research collaboration, student exchange incl. Internships in industry which connect education, research and innovation (both in Japan and Norway). The project ends in June this year and we are now searching for possibilities to continue our close and fruitful collaboration with our Japanese partners.
