Previous Ocean Week Conferences
Previous Ocean Week Conferences
Since NTNU Ocean's establishment in 2014, Ocean Week has been held eight times.
Previous Ocean Weeks have received visits and contributions from leading scientists, artists, industry and business representatives, diplomats, politicians, activists, and even royals when His Majesty King Harald V of Norway visited the conference in 2019.
In 2022 Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy Bjørnar Selnes Skjæran (Ap) contributed at Ocean Week in Trondheim. In 2021 Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) attended the conference with a talk on The Ocean Panel and the Ocean Decade.
We are grateful for the opportunity through all these years to create an arena for the big blue talks.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed and who participated in the various events at the conference.
