Welcome to the first FME BATTERY Academy, co-hosted by Norsk Industri, Battery Norway and FME BATTERY.

We are excited to have you join us for this two-day event, where industry experts, researchers, and professionals will come together to discuss the latest advancements and trends in the battery industry.

FME BATTERY Academy is open to all, both FME BATTERY members and external stakeholder. Throughout the academy, you will have the opportunity to engage in insightful presentations, hands-on lab courses, and interactive discussions.

We aim to foster collaboration and innovation, providing you with valuable knowledge and networking opportunities.

Traveling Climate Friendly 

We encourage everyone to use public land-based transportation (e.g., train or bus) to reduce travel emissions where possible.

For those of you traveling long distances by land-based transport, such as the night train or bus from Trondheim, the centre will arrange breakfast at Norsk Industri between 8 and 9.

This day will be organized  with different work shops at IFE, Instituttveien 18, 2007 Kjeller and the content may be tailored to those registering.

The workshops are listed below, but be aware that som run in parallell and it is not possible to attend all of them. Please see the specific times and parallells in the registration link.

FME battery days Day 2

  • Intro to Li-ion batteries and choosing the right cell for your application
  • Max 40 participants.
  • Featuring slurry mixing, coin cell assembly in and outside glovebox, tour of NABLA pilot line. Will be tailored to those registering and their level of knowledge/interest.

  • Intro to Li-ion battery testing
