Seminars at NTNU AMOS in 2015
Guest Lecture by Prof. Jan Roháč, Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), on Progress in Inertial Navigation Technology
Abstract:
The lecture will introduce current state-of-the-art in Inertial Navigation Systems (INSs) including inertial sensors utilized, their advantages/disadvantages, applied methodology of data processing and evaluation. The lecture will then extend the scope about challenges in navigation systems when cost-effective sensors are used and how data fusion and enhanced signal/data processing can be found beneficiary to increase the overall performance. Furthermore, the effects of calibration will be discussed.
