AMOS scientists and students visited Breaking the Surface 2015 (BtS) held from 4th till 11th October in Biograd na Moru, Croatia. 

Breaking the Surface is a field training program that combines academic lectures in marine robotics and robotics application areas, hands-on working experience in the sea, and demonstrations of marine technologies (various equipment, projects and companies).

BtS is organized in four program tracks:

  • marine robotics (MAROB)
  • marine biology and marine nature protection (MARBIO)
  • maritime security, naval and cost guard operations (MARSEC)
  • maritime, nautical and ship archaeology (MARCH)
  • oceanology (OCEAN)
