Although academia is considered the most common career path for people with a doctorate, many of our doctors go on to work in private business and public administration.

The latest doctoral survey from NIFU shows that around 35 per cent work in the university and college sector, 19 per cent work in the private sector and 16 per cent work at university hospitals.
