Location: Frimerket (the central lawn), campus Gløshaugen
Meet your fellow students and experience your first day as a student with your new friends.

Tuesday 13 August
Time: 14:00
Location: Elgeseter Park near Studentersamfundet
Join Buddy week kick-off hosted by Studentersamfundet and get a social start of studies.
All new students can participate.
During the Orientation week, you will get to know NTNU, your city and other international students in fun ways, and learn everything you need to know to get started in Norway and settle in at NTNU. The Office of International Relations arranges the orientation week.
The O-week is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended that new students attend
Friday 16 August
Introduction meeting for Informatics
At the introduction meeting, you will receive information about the study program. You will meet the people you will be studying with, professors, student advisors and Student ambassadors.
Program
All meetings will be held at campus Gløshaugen.
Time: 12:15 – 12:45
Place: Auditorium R5 in Realfagbygget
Activity: Greetings from academic programme director and joint information form student adviser and Student ambassador.
Time: Kl. 12:45-13:30
Place: Specialization meetings are held at R5, R4, R3 and R54, all rooms are inn Realfagbygget.
Activity: Specialization meeting with a professor form the research group your specialization belongs to.

NTNU has various part-time classes to help you learn Norwegian as a second language, including a free online course.
Exchange students can join a 3-week intensive summer course in August.
Course timetables - timetables are published at det end of june. If there is no timetable, please contact the department responsible for the course
