Study environment - Global Manufacturing Management (Master's Programme)
Student life
As a student on this master's degree programme, you will be working within an interdisciplinary environment in which social contacts and professional cooperation with researchers from the Globalization Programme and with your fellow students will be an important component.
Around 20 students are enrolled each year to this programme of study. The study environment is therefore close, and together you will work on multiple industry relevant cases in various project teams.
Student organisation
Globus is the Global Manufacturing Management's student organization. Globus’ main goal is to improve both the professional and social lives of Global Manufacturing Management students.
Globus plan and host various events throughout the semester, and also work with establishing company connections through company visits and presentations. The organization also hosts social events like cabin trips, quizzes, and excursions.

It was very fun to be an exchange student and get to know another culture. I gained so much experience. You should go on exchange and step out of your comfort zone.

Not only will you get international friends from all over the world, experience new places, eat and drink a lot of tasty food and drinks, and get a unique educational experience – but you will also get to experience something outside of the Norwegian culture and get to know a more international mindset.
You grow a lot by going to a new city all alone and being “forced” to get to know new people
Name: Ina Snartland
Time period for exchange: Spring semester 2022
Exchange university: University College Dublin, Ireland
I loved having one semester with something else. Educationally, I think it might be hard to get large educational outcome, but you grow a lot by going to a new city all alone and being “forced” to get to know new people. Especially in a place far from home where they do not speak Norwegian.
