Programme structure

For an overview of the courses please see the study plan below. 

  • First and second semester consists of compulsory and elective courses.
  • In the third semester you specialise further through a specialisation project and mandatory and elective courses.
  • In the fourth and final semester you write your master thesis. 

Research topics

The research topics, for both project work and the master thesis, are geared in the direction of geohazards. Many of the project works and MSc theses will be directly related to ICG projects and will be supervised by researchers from the International Centre for Geohazards (ICG).
