The program offers a large range of courses on theory and applications for the Natural Gas value chain. As the program recruits students from a variety of backgrounds, the program has been made quite open, with a large number of elective courses and few compulsory courses. 

The first and second semester consists of a compulsory course and elective courses. The second semester follows the The interdisciplinary project course Experts in Teamwork.

The specialization course includes a project work and prepares for the master thesis. The entire spring semester of the final year is dedicated to the master's thesis work.
