Do you want to make a better world through better design? NTNU will provide you with the opportunity to develop inclusive, intuitive and efficient human-computer interaction through the Master program in Interaction Design.
Become an expert in ensuring positive user experiences for all users in a society where computers are pervasive, and digital interfaces and interactivity are everywhere.
This program is not available for students outside of the European Union
The Master programme in Interaction Design teaches the students to put the users’ needs and requirements first in digital interactive environments and user interfaces.
The program provides the students with knowledge and awareness of human factors and conditions in interaction and interface design.
With a completed master's degree, you can apply for positions such as service designer, project manager, usability expert and interaction designer.

This Master programme extends over two academic years (4 semesters) and constitutes a course load of 120 ECTS credits.
The programme offers a combination of compulsory and elective courses. In order to graduate from the programme, you must complete all compulsory courses as well as a sufficient number of elective courses to achieve the required number of credits.
This program is not available for students outside of the European Union
In order to apply for this master program, you must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent education of a minimum of three years duration.
The degree must include 80 credits in media, design and/or IT subjects.
If you have completed related programmes, you may be evaluated on an individual basis.
The student advisers are your contacts in all questions about the programme, like
compulsory and elective courses, exams, deadlines, etc.
