Før immatrikuleringen og offisiell studiestart inviterer Ada_ prosjektet til velkomstdag for alle nye kvinnelige og ikke-binære studenter ved teknologiutdanningene på IE-fakultetet.
Denne dagen gir deg muligheten til å bli kjent med medstudenter fra både samme og andre studieprogram. Her får du blant annet høre om aktivitetene i Ada_, tips til første semester, møte linjeforeningene og en sniktitt på campus. Mange har møtt sine nærmeste studievenner nettopp denne dagen!
Velkomstdagen er et frivillig og sosialt tilbud. Du går ikke glipp av noe faglig dersom du ikke har anledning til å delta.

Monday 11. August
Matriculation ceremony – welcome ceremony for new students at NTNU
Time: 13:00 - 14:00
Location: Studenthuset, Gjøvik
This is the formal matriculation ceremony for new students. Note that this event is not mandatory for master students, your main introduction day is Friday August 15.

Join Buddy week and meet new friends from the first day of your studies! All new students can participate.
Friday 15. August
Mandatory for full-time and part-time students
When: 10.00 AM – 18.00 PM (approx.)
Where: Campus Gjøvik, room S410, Smaragd building
- Welcome to NTNU and the Department of Information Security and Communication Technology
- Introduction to staff and research groups
- Information about the study programme and courses
- Practical details about being master student
- Q&A session
The start-up seminar is mandatory and will mainly be held in English.

During the Orientation week, you will get to know NTNU, your city and other international students in fun ways, and learn everything you need to know to get started in Norway and settle in at NTNU. The Office of International Relations arranges the orientation week.

NTNU has various part-time classes to help you learn Norwegian as a second language, including a free online course.
If there is no timetable, please contact the department responsible for the course.
