About the course

Course content

Two modules, each 3,75 ECTS, have to be selected. TMR08-Internal combustion engines, advanced course, TMR14-Marine mechatronics or TMR15-Hybrid power systems are recommended, but other modules can be allowed dependent of background and relevance for the master thesis.

Learning outcome

The subject shall give in-depth knowledge of important problems related to the specialization "Marine Machinery".

Learning methods and activities

The modules are given as lectures, exercises, project work, and self-tuition.

Further on evaluation

Oral exam, with letter grade (A-F). To pass the course, two modules (3.75 SP each) must be individually passed. In a re-sit examination, both modules must be repeated.
