About MTING

About Master in Engineering and ICT

On Master in Engineering and ICT you learn to solve engineering assignments using computer technology. You get the opportunity to combine, what we call, classic engineering subjects with computer subjects. This makes this programme of study unique. 

In the first years of Engineering and ICT you get an insight into the different main profiles to find out what you would like to specialise further in. 

You can choose one of the following main profiles:

  • Geomatics
  • ICT and Structural Engineering
  • ICT and Marine Technology
  • ICT and Petroleum Engineering
  • ICT and Operation Management
  • ICT and Mechanical Engineering

Language of instruction: Norwegian

You have to meet the Norwegian language requirements, or have a Scandinavian language as your mother tongue, if you want to apply to any of NTNU’s degree programmes taught in Norwegian.

The application deadline for the programme is April 15th. Students apply through Samordna Opptak.
