Course content

The bachelor thesis topic can be any topic from the field of economics as long as it is approved by the department of economics. The department also appoints a supervisor.

Knowledge

You learn

  • to conduct research on an academic topic, both independently and as member of a group
  • to write an academic work that meets the basic requirements for scientific presentation and argumentation

Skills

You should

  • be able to formulate a problem and develop a specific research question
  • be able to carry out an academic analysis and present the results in a bachelor's thesis

General competence

You must

  • independently and in collaboration with other students, be able to organize, plan and carry out work that is to be delivered within a given deadline

Learning methods and activities

Seminars and individual supervision. The bachelor thesis is normally written in groups with maximum four students.

  • Approved project

Further on evaluation

The Bacherlor thesis is graded. A new attempt can only happen in the spring semester. A previously delivered assignment cannot be reworked and resubmitted.
