Course content
Same as NORD2200. Students are not expected to be able to express themselves in appropriate and correct Norwegian (bokmål or nynorsk) to the same extent as Norwegian students. NORX-courses may not be included in a Norwegian university degree or qualify for admission to Teacher Education.

Same as NORD2200.
Obligatory assignments: Up to 4 written assignments, as defined by the instructor before the term. Participation in the excursion in the runology course. Approved obligatory assignments are valid for 2 semesters (the semester in which the approval is given and the following semester).

Further on evaluation
An Old Norse dictionary and Old Norse list of declinations/inflections will be allowed at the exam in the Old Norse variant of the course.
Recommended previous knowledge
The student should have a good command of the Norwegian language (oral and written) and should have Scandinavian Studies as their subject from their home institution.

For international guest students (student exchange through International Office at NTNU) only.
