Course content

The course builds on on the Music agency- course in the Bachelor-education, and will create a consciousness about the processes required to create you own workplace. The course provides specialization in topics around the business, market, culture, industry and society, and strengthen awareness of their own arts.

  • has insight into strategies for creating her/his own workplace
  • has knowledge of economic mechanisms and artistic challenges

Skills:

The candidate:

  • is prepared to cope with current and future music market

Learning methods and activities

Lectures, seminar discussions.

Practical work requirements that involve organizing or participating in organizing a cultural event. A report from the work is delivered together with the exam paper.

Written assignment: The assignment is the base for the final examination. Scope: about 5-8 typed A4 pages. Deadline April 30th.

Instruction is obligatory and demands minimum 80% attendance.
