Course content
The course will give an introduction and overview of microcontrollers and sensors.
- Microcontroller: architecture, type and applications
- Arduino hardware and programming
- Sensor principle
- Use of sensors with microcontrollers
- Perception of the physical environment using sensors
- Perception-action in the development of control systems
Learning methods and activities
Teaching methods: Lectures and individual- and group-exercises (mandatory).
Further on evaluation
Candidates will work in groups. Each group must submit a term paper (counts 40%), and present orally (counts 60%) the work done. The term paper must be passed in order to take the oral exam.
The re-sit exam will be in the following semester. The exam is oral only.
