Course content

The course will provide practical insight into:-HVAC systems.-Making and reading HVAC drawings.-Digital HVAC drawings.-Understanding HVAC systems.-Surveying and levelling.

Learning outcome

Knowledge. The candidate has knowledge of: -Preparing digital HVAC drawings -Surveying and levelling -Practical understanding of HVAC equipment and systems Skills. The candidate can: -Plan, carry out and procecss data from measurements on existing HVAC systems -Assess the condition of and potential improvements of existing HVAC systems -Prepare HVAC drawings using digital tools -Identifying different HVAC components in buildings -Carry out surveying and levelling General competence. The candidate can: - Communicate with architects, building consultants and other stakeholders in the building industry regarding HVAC systems in buildings -Communicate insight into opportunities and limitations for HVAC systems to different stakeholders -Asssess different HVAC solutions based on given frameworks -Discuss opportunities for innovation and development within HVAC systems for buildings
