Course content
This course will develop the students' ability to explore and discuss current issues within speech and language therapy. Themes can be linked to speech and language therapy in general or be more focused on a specific area within speech and language therapy.

Knowledge
The candidate:
- has in-depth knowledge of research literature within a current topic in speech and language therapy
- can place the chosen literature in the relevant national and/or international research field
Skills
The candidate:
- is able to systematically search for, select and justify the choice of research literature
- can identify, comment on and discuss issues from the research literature
- can present and discuss relevant issues in writing within a chosen topic
General competence
The candidate:
- can identify and contextualise issues within a relevant topic
- can identify and justify relevant research literature
- can present and discuss research work in line with scientific principles

Lectures and group work. The course has mandatory work requirements.

In order to sit for the exam, you must have attended 80% of the teaching and have two mandatory assignments approved. Only your own and your child's illness or similar are valid reasons for absence.
