Course content

Minimum number of candidates are 3.

Thermal turbomachinery design. Performance estimation. Protection. Stability and Transient analysis.

Learning outcome

Knowledge: Knowledge related to; • Detail design of compressors, gas turbines and wet gas compressors • Performance estimation • Transient analysis. Skills related to; • Detailed evaluation and analysis of thermal turbomachinery. General competence: Competence within compressors, gas turbines and wet gas compressors, in order to perform design consideration, operational analysis and integration.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures and exercises. To pass the course a score of at least 70 percent is required. No of students, min 3.
