Academic posts

Our work areas consist mainly of research and teaching positions in a variety of academic disciplines, ranging from junior academic roles such as research assistants and PhD candidates to associate professors («førsteamanuensis» or «dosent») and professors.

Technical and administrative positions

If you are seeking an academic career, NTNU offers you a wealth of opportunities. Effective administration and infrastructure are crucial for supporting core activities, including research and education. NTNU has many technical and administrative positions that ensure the university functions smoothly. We constantly need skilled employees who can provide new expertise in areas such as IT, finance, HR, and communication.

NTNU in several cities

NTNU has its headquarters in Trondheim, with campuses in Gjøvik and Ålesund.
We also have an Oslo office for continuing education and professional development, and a Brussels office for European collaboration.

Campus development at NTNU

Over the next years, NTNU’s academic communities in Trondheim will be consolidated from dispersed locations into a unified campus in the area around Gløshaugen. Campus development at NTNU.
