Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) - Department of physics
Transmission electron microscopy (TEM)

The TEM research group is active in broad range of projects within the field of materials physics including nanoscale structural studies and their connection to macroscopic physical properties.
Transmission electron microscope (TEM) is a powerful technique for fundamental and applied research in the physical sciences. We study different fields from geology, metallurgy and semiconductor industry to fundamental chemistry and physics.
Research
TEM Gemini Centre
The TEM Gemini Centre consists of NTNU employees at Department of Physics (IFY), Department of Materials Science and Engineering (IMT) and employees at SINTEF, Materials and Nanotechnology.
NORTEM
The Norwegian Centre for Transmission Electron Microscopy (NORTEM) is a nationally coordinated initiative by the two leading Norwegian TEM groups within the physical sciences, in Trondheim and Oslo. NORTEM - the Trondheim node
