Professor Jeffrey Morris
Professor Jeffrey Morris is Director of the Levich Institute at CUNY City College of New York. The title of his lecture is “Extreme transitions of flow properties: Discontinuous shear thickening and hydrate jamming”. Professor Randy Ewoldt is Principal Investigator of the Ewoldt Research Group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Professor Arild Saasen works as a technology advisor at PRORES and for ALKAS Atlantic AS. He holds a position as adjunct professor in drilling and well fluids technology at the University of Stavanger. The title of his lecture is “Rheology – for a better cooperation between academia and society”.

Inger-Lise Solberg is a Research scientist at Geological Survey of Norway. PhD in Engineering Geology from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Research topics: Mapping and research connected to quick-clay landslides. Combine geophysical, geological and geotechnical information to get a good overview of the ground conditions. Project manager for National Database of Ground Investigations (NADAG), and for a new web/mobile registration system of groundwater well data (BrønnReg).
Tonje Eide Helle
Tonje Eide Helle is a Geotechnical engineer and researcher in the Directorate of Public Roads. Developing a new quick-clay landslide mitigation method using potassium chloride. Research topics: influence of pore-water chemistry on the behaviour of quick clays, site investigations, quick-clay landslides, landslide mitigation, ground improvement.
MD PhD Rolf A. Walstad
MD PhD Rolf A. Walstad is a Retired Chief Clinician of lung diseases at St Olavs Hospital, Trondheim and Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim. As clinician of lung diseases, he worked with patients suffering from chronic lung diseases, particularly serious infections. Research topics: clinical pharmacology, drug trials and mainly pharmacokinetics and penetration studies of antibiotics.
