We recommend you to submit the application well in advance. NTNU has accommodation in Trondheim only. For Gjøvik and Ålesund, please contact your department.

The application goes to your department or faculty for verification.
-
NTNU's Boligformidling will process the application, which can take up to 4 weeks.
-
The prices for NTNU apartments are not subsidized, so it is not cheaper to rent from NTNU compared with the private market. The advantage of NTNU apartments is that they can also be rented out for short periods and the tenency contract can be terminated by the customer with 7 days or 30 days notice, depending on the type of the apartment. If you need to rent accomodation on the private marked for less than 1 year then it is important to check if you can terminate the contract before 1 year has passed.
