Organ concert in Nidaros Cathedral (Nidarosdomen)

The City of Trondheim cordially invites you to a short organ concert in the cathedral before our conference dinner. Nidaros Cathedral is the world’s northernmost Medieval cathedral and Norway’s national sanctuary. The Steinmeyer organ in the Cathedral was the largest in Northern Europe when it was installed in 1930. The organ has recently been restored to its former glory. Thursday 8th June at 18.00.

Transport with vintage tram to conference dinner

Enjoy the views of Trondheim as you climb on board the world’s northernmost tram (the vintage tram) which runs from the city centre to Lian. Lian is a popular starting point for hiking and skiing in the recreation areas around Trondheim. Thursday 8th June at 19.30.

Conference dinner

Conference dinner at the Lian restaurant, Thursday 8th June at 20.00. The Lian restaurant was established in 1930 and has ever since been popular with the local population. The restaurant is situated in scenic surroundings in the forest, with beautiful views over the Lian lake and the city.

Three course menu (local food) which includes a welcome drink and two units of beverages.

Excursion to Munkholmen

Visit the island of Munkholmen, the site of public executions in the Viking Age, now a popular recreational attraction in the Trondheim Harbour area. Boat trip to the island including a guided tour in the Benedictine monastery/fort/prison. Seafood snacks and drinks are served in Ravnkloa before departure.

A minimum of 40 participants required. Maximum 96 passengers on the boat.
