During the Master's Programme you will specialize in a specific field of physics. Half of the time (corresponding to 60 ECTS credits) is devoted to the thesis. Under supervision of one of the members of the department's scientific staff, you will work with a physics research project on a high level.

The other half of the programme consists of courses. One of the courses is compulsory; the interdisciplinary Experts in Teamwork (EiT). All other courses are elective and are selected in collaboration with your supervisor. One of the elective courses might be "Special Syllabus"At least four of these courses must be on the graduate level (3000 level), and elementary level courses (1000 level) cannot be included.

The programme is finalized with the final master's exam, an oral defence of your thesis.
