Organization
Unit for campus development is NTNU’s operational unit responsible for managing large government-funded investment projects related to NTNU’s campus. The unit serves as the Rector’s and deans’ operative body to ensure benefit realisation and alignment with NTNU’s strategic goals.
Currently, the unit manages a portfolio of three major projects. Statsbygg and St. Olavs Hospital are the construction clients with responsibility for planning and execution. On behalf of the Rector and deans, the unit safeguards NTNU’s requirements in collaboration with the construction clients and ensures involvement from NTNU’s line organisation in all relevant projects.
The unit also has expertise across disciplines related to major public investment projects, including project management, change management, organisational development, communication, stakeholder involvement, quality management, zoning and construction processes, progress planning, architectural programming, research and development, finance (including procurement/contracts and cost estimation), and legal affairs.

Campus safety delegate and campus representative
Campus safety delegate and campus representative
Rector has acquired two positions - a safety delegate and a elected representative for NTNU campus development - that will follow the projects in NTNUs campus development and strengthen HSE and working environment and participation and co-determination in the projects.
The campus safety representative supports the chief safety representative and contributes to strengthening AMU’s (the working environment committee’s) work on construction projects. Their work is based on ongoing campus development activities, the Working Environment Act with related regulations, and the user involvement programme.
Campus safety delegate: Heidi Camilla Egseth
The campus union representative supports the chief union representatives and promotes good and meaningful employee involvement. The position helps strengthen the IDF SESAM dialogue on campus projects. The union representative’s role is based on the Basic Agreement in the civil service sector, NTNU’s adaptation agreement, and the user involvement programme.
Campus representative: Morten Kvamme
