About us
If you are interested in learning more about NTNU’s activities in nanoscience, nanotechnology and functional materials, then you have come to the right place! NTNU is Norway’s main hub for education and research in engineering and technology, and “nano” lies at the heart of almost everything we do. Alongside digital technology and biotechnology, we have designated nano as one of our three “enabling technologies”, firmly believing that innovations in nanotechnology have the potential to revolutionise numerous aspects of science, engineering and medicine.
Coordinating and keeping track of “all things nano” at NTNU is a major task, but that is what “NTNU Nano” aims to do. On these pages, you will find topical news items, details of upcoming events, a description of our popular master’s programme in nanotechnology, an overview of our nano-related research activities, a directory of NTNU’s nanoresearchers, a list of nano-related facilities within the university, and a variety of useful links. You will also find contact details for the NTNU Nano management team:
- John de Mello (Director of NTNU Nano)
- Peter Köllensperger (Director of NTNU NanoLab and NorFab)
- Hanna Gautun (Coordinator of NTNU Nano, NTNU NanoLab and NorFab)
Please note, this website is still under construction. If you can’t find the information you need on our website, then please feel free to get in touch with one of us. (Hint: if you are looking for a quick response, then Hanna is the person to contact first!).
