The development of techniques aims at improvements in the precision and accuracy of the measurements and of existing preparation techniques and also the development of new preparation methods and research in new materials which can be dated. New materials made available for dating does not only allow new applications in established research fields but might allow the use of isotopes in in fields where they are not usually used.

Our research projects in radiocarbon applications demonstrate the capabilities of the laboratory and are often projects that require a large number of measurements which are made possible by the large measurement capacity of the laboratory.
