Student Housing
The International Office at NTNU in Gjøvik cooperates with SiT (Student Welfare Organisation) on the allocation of student housing. International master's degree students and exchange students will receive housing information directly from Sit once they have been admitted to NTNU. Internship students should contact the International Office before applying for housing.
Do not book a room before you have received an email with a booking code from SiT. You must book your room at Sit with the same name and e-mail address with which you applied to NTNU.
Certain groups are guaranteed housing through SiT, while others may have to find their own housing on the private market, especially for the autumn semester. Please see the page for private housing for more information.
SiT offers different kinds of housing, but most are private rooms with shared living spaces (kitchen and/or bathroom). If you require accesible housing, please contact SiT directly. You can read more about the different student villages here. Please note that allocation is decided through availability and SiT cannot guarantee that you will live in the same village as another applicant.
