Time &Place

16-20
June
2025

We will start on Monday 16 June at 0900 with lectures with registration from 08.00, so you have to arrive in Trondheim at the last on Sunday. On the following days, the course will run from 0830 to 1700 until Friday 20 June at 1200. Lunch on Friday will be at 1200, giving the participants time to catch early afternoon planes.

 

All lectures will be in lecture hall EL5 in Gamle Elektro at NTNU Campus Gløshaugen. 

Registration and Fees

Registration The Trondheim International Summer School on Aluminium Alloy Technology (ISSAAT). 

Registration fee NOK 8 000,-.

Registration fee students (MSc and PhD) NOK 5 500,-.

Included in the registration fee is lunch every day and dinner Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Each participants must arrange for their own travel and accommodation.

Deadline for registration: 1 May

Cancellation terms

A withdrawal received four weeks prior to the start is free of charge, and any withdrawal received one week prior will be charged 50% of the costs. In case of a withdrawal after this date and for no-shows, the whole sum will be charged in full.

Accommodation

This section will be updated.

Accommodation is not included in the summer school fee.  Scandic Lerkendal (ca 15 min) and Strawberry Comfort Park (ca 20 min) is within comfortable walking distance from Gamle Elektro (ISSAAT venue). We have reserved some rooms for participants in the summer school at both hotels. They must be booked no later than 4 weeks before 15 June.

Visa

The Norwegian Directorate for Immigration (UDI) has a comprehensive website that explains the different visa application processes that non-Norwegians have to follow depending on their country of origin.

Contact us to receive an invitation letter in connection with your visa application. You must have paid the participation fee before we can send you an invitation letter.
