Multilingual Processing in Psycholinguistics and Technology
Multilingual Processing in Psycholinguistics and Technology (MPPT).
The Formal, Mental and Acquisitional Approaches to Language (ForMAAL) research group at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU Trondheim) welcomes you to the workshop Multilingual Processing in Psycholinguistics and Technology (MPPT), 22-23 May 2025. LINGUIST List 35.3138 Confs: Multilingual Processing in Psycholinguistics and Technology.
The workshop brings together scholars working on multilingualism and multilingual processing from syntactic, phonological, semantic and pragmatic perspectives, as well as researchers investigating the technological side of multilingualism, developing computerized models of language processing and language acquisition. We anticipate having a fruitful discussion of the established theoretical assumptions and current research advances in the form of thematic talks and poster presentations.
A special session ‘Technical perks: hands-on-the job’ will be offered as part of the workshop. We will discuss small technical things that can make the life of a researcher easier. The session will demonstrate two ways to prepare the data for analysis: all in R vs. Python and Shell Scripts. It will be conducted as live discussion

Dr. Hiroki Fujita (University of Potsdam)
Prof. Evelina Leivada (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona)
Prof. Natalia Meir (Bar-Ilan University)
