Researching Materiality, Politics, and Pedagogy in Education - ReMaPP

The ReMaPP research group was established 1.1.2025. Our research focuses on critical studies in educational policies, materialities, and pedagogies. Members Ellen Saur, Hans Petter Ulleberg, and Eirik Ringen Hammarstrøm have been investigating the design and implementation of new school spaces in Norway. Heidun Oldervik's work centres on governance, leadership, and quality assessment in Norwegian education. Håkon Jacobsen Aaltvedt explores classroom technology from a post-phenomenological perspective. Hans Petteri Hansen specializes in comparative education policy, with a particular interest in the traditions and future directions of Nordic education.
