MARIT Lab: Marine Electrification Lab is the name of the research group led by Prof. Mehdi Zadeh at NTNU established in 2018.

Our research focus at Marit lab is the development of solutions for zero-emission and autonomous shipping through hybrid electric power systems. Technical solutions are established based on efficient and intelligent onboard DC power systems, covering a range of research topics from power system modeling, design and control, to energy management and optimization. 

The Mariter's are DC sailors keeping constant values during the time, even under high tides. We are neither oscillating nor chaotic...!
