Abstract

Every company has a machine learning opportunity... However, the Gartner research reveals that 85% of ML projects ultimately fail.

In this talk, we first showcase some machine learning examples that already provide some sizeable impact on Norwegian business. We then discuss the key factors to ensure success of machine learning projects in industrial applications.

After the lecture, Pål Haugen from Furuno will lead us though a Q&A with Valeriya Naumova in the University Library. There will be served a light snack with the Q&A.
