The digital revolution offers unique opportunities to collect and communicate data (e.g. internet of things IoT), process and analyze data (e.g. data science, artificial intelligence, digital twins).

But to make use of this, a research investment to ensure resource effectiveness, smart mobility and a resilient society is required. Through projects, efforts in digitalization will create drivers for sustainable solutions within all fields of the centre.
