The NTNU Team Geo Energy consists of experts working with georesources and technologies for their exploration, access and utilization to provide an affordable, environmentally friendly, and secure energy supply. The team includes specialists from multiple disciplines: geosciences, mechanical, chemical, and petroleum engineering, economics, computer science, cybernetics, and electronics. Apart from its research and educational activities unique to the team, it also contributes to other NTNU Energy teams.

The NTNU Geo Energy team is a collaboration arena for Geo Energy-related research, innovation, and education across NTNU. Its purpose is to support and coordinate multidisciplinary research, enhance the visibility of geoenergy research and education, support innovation, and maintain efficient academia-industry collaboration.
