14.th January : NTNU Community: Invitation to a ‘matchmaking event’
NTNU Community announced 2. December a call for establishing interdisiplinary teams
Deadline for applying is 10.02.2025
We have got several questions from researchers who are considering to be part of a coordinating group for a proposed Team and who would like to meet colleagues from other disciplines and faculties and discuss possibilities for establish such groups. As explained in the call, a requirement for applying as a coordinating group for a Team under NTNU Community is that the group consists of three people from three disciplines representing (at least) two faculties. To facilitate a meeting place for those interested in being part of a coordinating group NTNU Community will arrange a digital ‘matchmaking event’ January 14th 2025. The goal of this event is simply to provide an opportunity for people to get in touch with each other and establish an interdisciplinary group. It is up to the participants to plan further contact after the matchmaking event if there is mutual interest in developing an application for coordinating a Team.
The matchmaking event will be arranged Tuesday January 14th according to the following schedule:
08.30-09.00: Team Democratic Resilience
09.05-09.35: Team Housing and Community Development
09.40-10.10: Team Just Transition
10.15-10.45: Team Childhood and Youth

Would you like to help shape this work? Then you have the opportunity by signing up for one or more workshops in the autumn. At the workshops, we will discuss current research topics related to diminishing trust in society and democratic challenges, social inequality and exclusion, restructuring of the welfare state, climate change and the environment. Read more about NTNU Community.
