Research - CEMIR
Research
The Centre of Molecular Inflammation Research consists of eight research groups. The research activity in all groups is closely connected with the centre's five main research themes.
Research groups
- Inflammation
- Molecular Mechanisms of Mycobacterial and Viral Infections (MYCOVIR)
- Autophagy and Oxidative Stress Defense
- Inflammation in Pregnancy
- Inflammatory Bowel Diseases
- Bone Microenvironment
- Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms in Regeneration
- The Systems Inflammation
Research themes
The original themes of CEMIR have been re-organized into five new themes to incorporate the research developments, accommodate the recently recruited research groups, and facilitate close interactions between similar research activities across research groups.
- Intracellular Trafficking and Compartmentalized Signalling
- Molecular Mechanisms of Infection and Inflammation
- Molecular Mechanisms of Inflammation in Cardiovascular Disease
- Molecular Mechanisms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Intestinal Regeneration
- Molecular Mechanisms of Inflammation in Cancer Progression and Bone Loss
