The report that sets the framework for the co-location of NTNU’s campus in Trondheim has been quality assured. The recommendation is to implement the project as described with high environmental ambitions. According to the plan, the Government will decide by the end of 2019 how the project will be continued.
In December 2018, Statsbygg and NTNU delivered their report for the start-up project (Oppstart forprosjekt - OFP) on the co-location of NTNU’s campus in Trondheim. The OFP report is now quality-assured on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Research and the Ministry of Finance.
The quality assurance from the consulting company Holte Consulting was today made public by the Ministry of Education and Research and can be read on their website.

– The extensive work skilled professionals in NTNU and Statsbygg completed in 2018 has now received an official stamp of quality. This confirms that the basis for the Government's decision on further work is solid, which makes it easy to deliver this large and important national project, says NTNU Rector Gunnar Bovim.
The quality assurance has some specific recommendations for the implementation of the project, which NTNU and Statsbygg will continue to work with.
