WIBEC activities have been presented on June 20th at the 12th Silicon Saxony Day 2017. Themed "looking beyond horizons", this event brought together specialists, national and international companies as well as research institutions. One of the focal points was an expert session on „smart health“ where the possibilities and benefits of the integration of intelligent microelectronics in the health and medicin area have been discussed. Dr. Neumann from TU Dresden contributed with a talk on "Technologies for wireless in-body and on-body communication“ introducing the plans and efforts of the WIBEC consortium.
